“ I love this place. I've been eating here for 40 years! The food is consistently good, very authentic with new dishes offered from time to time. The Casa Asado with chorizo is fabulous; it's like creme brulee, slightly crisped cheese on top, melted and gooey on the bottom. Wrap it in a corn tortilla, add fresh salsa and you'll be happy forever. My other go to dishes are the Chile Rellenos with cheese and the Enchiladas Verdes. They both come with rice, beans and cabbage. You can't go wrong here. Outside seating is available ”

“ I came in and ordered take out . I waited in the nice friendly ambiance for about 15 minutes . I ordered the steak quesadilla, it was good . The portion was a good size and quality for the price . The staff were friendly and welcoming . I will definitely sit for dinner next time . I used the bathrooms they were clean . They have street meter parking and it’s located in front of the train station , Greenline called “ Newton center “. ”
“ My husband and I have been going to Sol Azteca (Boston at first, then Newton) since 1980! The food is wonderful with a rich variety of Mexican dishes. I also love their Sangira and of course the chips and salsa you get while you are waiting for your meal. The service has always been great and the restaurant holds a lot of wonderful memories for us. I have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. I love the Enchiladas Verdes, the De Frijol Negro (black bean soup), the Carnitas (the appetizer is enough for me for dinner). I have wonderful memories of going there while dating my husband and bringing our kids as kids and now as adults with their spouses. This is a treasure of a restaurant!!! ”
